Thank you for considering Sanctuary at the Lake. For many, admitting that there is a problem and seeking help is the most difficult hurdle. Our staff is here to help you and your family members every step of the way. We invite you to contact our highly trained admissions team to answer any questions you may have. They will also be able to help you begin the assessment process. Our primary goal is for you to feel welcome and safe.
Our Intake Coordinator will ask you for information such as:
- Current symptoms necessitating inpatient treatment
- Current medical problems for which client is undergoing treatment
- Current medication usage
- Insurance information (social security number, insurance carrier, applicable group and member numbers)
- Home address and phone number
- Names, addresses, and phone numbers of treatment providers for both emotional and medical needs
- Transportation plans to and from the hospital (you must have a solid transportation plan)
Intake Coordinators Valerie and Jim will also speak to you regarding our safety expectations and provide you with information as to what to bring and what not to bring to the hospital. Some of our basic guidelines will be explained (tobacco-free program, cell phone use, visiting hours).
Cost for Services
Sanctuary at the Lake works with most insurance companies, Medicare, and has an option for self-pay. Payment terms are based upon the length of stay and are scheduled with the patient or responsible party prior to admission. Our financial counselor will assist you in detailing your payment options and will work with you to make arrangements to meet your financial obligations
Insurance policies and benefits vary greatly. Each company has established guidelines for medical necessity. Insurance carriers or managed care companies determine the appropriateness of care based on presenting problem(s). Required updates or reviews are provided to insurance companies on a consistent basis throughout a treatment stay. Based on the information provided, insurance companies determine whether the level of care we provide continues to be appropriate. Sanctuary has no control over the outcome of the reviews, however, our Utilization Review Coordinator works hard to obtain the maximum benefit allowed by a company or carrier. It is important to note that these reviews do not guarantee payment by an insurance carrier upon final billing.
Your presence in our treatment center is protected by Federal Regulations CFR 42, Part II and HIPPA. Sanctuary guards your records and takes every precaution to protect your right to privacy.
